Update from the Garden

Dear Golden Gardeners,

Here in the midst of the seasons turning, we wish to update you on the changes in the garden. 

It is bittersweet for us to announce the closing of our retail space and garden in The Hangout on 4th street, effective December 31. Those of you who have shared time with us here and found your plant friends in our garden already know what a truly magical space we grew together.

The Hangout business will be relocating to San Luis Obispo, but you can still find The Golden Garden here in Long Beach. We will continue servicing clients one-on-one, teaching classes locally, and helping with your special events. Additionally, all of our currently scheduled workshops and classes will continue without interruption, and custom orders will continue to be fulfilled as normal. We are still here for your plant and garden needs.

This small business of ours has been built through years of love and dedication to connecting people to nature, one conversation at a time. As in the cycles of nature, we adapt to change when it comes.

You, our friends and customers, are our community, and we hope that you’ll celebrate the garden with us through the rest of this year. We are beyond grateful for you and all your light and energy throughout the years. Your enthusiasm for plants, for learning, for connecting, and growing is why the Golden Garden exists.
